Well my first Amiga was an Amiga 4000D. Then I got me an Amiga 2000HD and another Amiga 4000D.  I guess I'm just a fool at times, but I kinda wished I would have had a A1200.  As for my video options, I only have the AGA and a measly Cybervision 64, though I wish I had a Picasso IV.

Yeah, and make sure when you get your setup, you save to be able to get a 68060. It seems like so much requires having at least the '60 accelarator.  I myself want to be able to get some of my demo ideas on the scene.

So it sounds like I will need to make sure I get the following:

Amiga 3000HD
Accelerator of some kind
Lots of RAM
SCSI CD-ROM
Graphics option/upgrade
VGA/SVGA output of some kind
Mouse

or:

Amiga 500
Amiga 500 Hard Drive
Lots of RAM
Accelerator of some kind
Amiga RGB Monitor
Mouse

What else as I used to have a 500 and miss it alot. So what kind of price am I looking at here for the above configs? A ballpark figuer would be nice so I know how much to save.

For what I've since (at least for what it was when I looking for a system) it might run you about you about $200 for a nice Amiga 3000, and that accelarator is probably going to cost you about $200 to maybe even $300+ for a high end.

Thanks!  Is the A500 still a viable option nowadays? Maybe I will just go for a loaded A1200 HD of some kind.
