I was just walking along the street, when what did I find but most of a slot Pentium III 500. Bemused, I picked it up, and can say that prior to apparent attack by a moron with a screwdriver it was a "500/512/100/2.0V" of the "SL35E" stepping.
Most of the core is missing, but the cache SRAMs and about 90% of the surface-mount components are in fine shape, and the edge-connector might be servicable enough.
I figure one of you just might be crazy (or nefarious) enough to have a use for this; if so, it's yours for the price of shipping.
