The Apple rumour is just silly.  Apple rarely has an excess of anything, let alone iMacs.
Besides, they'll have no trouble selling off their stock of G5 iMacs because it's the only 64-bit consumer desktop they currently sell, it's the last iMac that'll run PPC natively, and there just aren't that many of them in the supply chain.

The second article is hilarious, though, and just serves to emphasize how backwards and amateurish the corporate side of the Amiga scene has become.
