What happened to VGR

I was wondering what happened to vgr.com, was it a simple case of the owner getting fed up or was there some other reason behind it disappearing?  I'm asking this as I was looking for makebootpic and all links to the software lead to vgr.com

Morphos 2.6, mini mac g4 @ 1.25ghz.

Nobody knows, seems hes lost somewhere.
