Hello, Grr, having trouble using YAM for E-Mail. Version 2.4 just gives an 8000 0004 Software Failure (CPU Exception , I think) I can use V. 1.3.3 if I don't mind the 'Please insert volume 2' requester (
) What gives? Most every Internet prog. I have has given me the 8000 0004 error at least once.
OK, it's a fresh install of YAM, using the '060 executable...the last time I tried YAM 2.4, I ran SnoopDos, which reported YAM trying to open a lib., and failing...but the name of the lib. was just gibberish (lots of u's with umlauts over them) As another A.org member suggested, I disabled MCP while testing, doesn't matter whether MCP is running or not... Here's my config.
A1200 PowerTower '060/50MHz, 2MB Chip, 128 MB Fast, 8.5GB HD, 2.1GB SCSI HD, Zip Drive, OS 3.9 w/ BB2. Genesis TCP stack, Aweb APL, DCTelnet, my ISP is Earthlink (requires authentication)
