Ah cool, then it should work with OS 3.9 assuming you use cgx44fixer.

I can't see any reason why not, no. Having said that, I had a working OS3.9 partition running CGX v4 (alas I formatted it recently as I planned to split it up into two smaller bootable partitions for testing with P96 and CGX) and never noticed any problems there either. Am I missing something here?

@Karlos

You're missing the fact that it was fixed for CGX4 in cgxv42_r2_pre11. This and later versions don't have any problem with exec version > 40.

Another option is that you don't have a replacement exec enabled in your OS 3.9 setup.

It's entirely possible. I'm not so sure of the details of that installation anymore; as it was used for testing purposes, the configuration changed a lot.

Hi,

I'm having the same issue - no screenmodes other than the boggy PAL ones in the screenmode requester.

Do you know where I can get this update from?

It appears to have been available here at some point, but that's now a 404... :-(

Karlos: I recently cured what I thought was a bad memory block between 60MB-64MB on a SIMM by cleaning the contacts. By magic the SIMM can be fully utilised as though there was oxidisation stopping a good contact.

I've seen a CyberVision PPC giving graphical glitches due to what the owner thinks is a dead memory chip but it's possible that it could be just a tarnished contact.

I thought the contacts on these boards were supposed to be gold, they're more like brass!
