A600 and A1200 Install to HDD floppies.
« on: January 12, 2006, 11:56:38 PM »
Is there a freeware version (ADF etc) of the Commodore install disks for these 2 machines floating around ?
I bought 2 HDDs from Analogic Computers back in '95 when I lived in England and the floppies that came with them (Their own installers) both have lots of read errors which are stopping me from installing anything.

My 2.05 and 3.0 Workbench disks are in perfect working order.

Thanks all.

No freeware floppy installers AFAIk, but there is the Official Amiga Install disk

You could use HDInstTools off the Aminet and manually install Workbench

Cheers Technoid - I'll give HDInstTools a whirl.
I'll dig round amigakit to see what else I can persuade the wife into letting me buy, there are some things on there I just know would make life better.

Any idea if amigakit ship from USA, UK or other?

Thanks (again)
