Amiga to pc monitor?
« on: January 11, 2006, 04:26:18 PM »
Hi guys, to save me a whole lot of space, and not to mention hassle from the wife, is there an easy way to connect my A1200 to my 17" TFT monitor for my pc? A cable perhaps? I tried looking on Ebay but to be honest I had no idea what to look for!

Hi,  a cable wont suffice as the signal needs to be modified to work on a PC monitor.

You will therefore need an Amiga Scandoubler/Flicker Fixer

AmigaKit you would not happen to have a Amiga 23-pin RGB cable extender would you?  A small one as I have this Scan Doubler and cannot use the RCA jacks on my A4000.

its no prob - just ensure that the monitor supports the amiga frequencies, in the past these monitors were called multisync or multiscan. an instruction how to make such an adapter you will find in "hardware book" - just google for it.
