Wanted a PSU
« on: January 10, 2006, 12:18:56 AM »
Hi all

I know this is a bit cheeky at the mo with every one asking for things but I am in desperate need for a PSU that can be used with a mediator in a A1200 tower.
I can trade items for this ie
A1200 040/25 or a A1200 030/40 or a A4000 030 or a A4000 040, hell even my gameboySP with some games

@AntonioX

If your Mediator board is a SX model, you can use an ATX PSU from any PC. If your Mediator board is a non-SX model, you can use an AT PSU from any older PC. If you can't get an AT PSU, you can buy an ATX --> AT PSU adaptor.

A normal A1200 psu would not do I would need more power

I have a normal mediator one of the first, and thanks for the info about beaing able to use a pc psu, but I already knew about that. But my problem is that I have no money at the mo as I have just lost my job, if I had the money I would of ordered one from amigakit, thats why I said that I wanted to trade some amiga items I dont use any more

@ AntonioX

The local computer fair at Tottenham Court Road was selling brand new AT PSUs for £6 the last time I was there. If you like I can get you one and you can pay me back when it suits you.
