INK instead of .info Can anbody help!
« on: January 09, 2006, 08:09:24 PM »
Hi there can any body help?
When reading some CD's, icons are not displayed as they should be or not at all. For example .info files have INK after there name etc. I have tried the 2 CD's in question and they display fine on another machine I have.
Obviously a system file is wrong or something like that to cause the files to be displayed wrongly. Tried changing C, installer to an earlier version but to no avail. Using 3.9OS on all machines with BB1 and BB2. Can anybody help!
regards Chris

this thing has nothing to do (as far as i know) with the files in C dir. try to change the config of the cd file system you use. if you have for example the standard from os3.9 search for/and run the ChaceCDFS prog/icon in the Prefs dir of your boot disk and try to alter some stuff there BUT only using the USE button. if you can find a setup that works THEN you can press the SAVE button, to keep the new settings.

If i am going to have bugs on my system,
at least let me keep the latest versions.

Thanks for that - the 2 Cd's in question are IMage FX 4.5 and Alladdan which I have just bought. The icons and there wording display OK on one machine I have but on the other 2 machines they do not. Strange however because the 3 computers are all set up the same
