If there is anybody out there who has a spare Amiga 2000 please let me know. I will pay for shipping. Keyboard and monitor has been donated earlier this week.

Then you could part it out and make a lick on ebay.

The difference between you and me is that you already have an Amiga, a nice one indeed.

Even just an EMPTY CASE would be a great start. So if somebody out there towered their Amiga and got a spare desktop case, please let me know.

Since we're on about freebies, would anyone like to donate a Porsche 911 . It needs to be yellow convertible but any colour would do at a push and if you want can you include a nice A4000 with cyberstorm PPC in the boot:lol:

Specs:
A1200PT, mediator c/w voodoo 3 2000, sb128, 60G HDD,OS3.9,LITEON CDR, nec 4x4 changer,External Scan Doubler,Cocolino adapter,PS2 keyboard adaptor.

Morphos 2.6, mini mac g4 @ 1.25ghz.

did they make a micro micro A4000 :-P

You might want to give a reason why your wanting someone to donate a A2000 for free! e.g for some kind of project, you own some sort of Amiga museum! Other words this topic is just gonna be fulled with stupid remarks like my one asking for a porsche or people thinking your just gonna sell it on ebay and make a quick buck! I sadly dont own an A2000 and i dont think I've been in the same place as one of them so I can't give you one :-)

...I just did not want to make up some story about some project. Off course it is for my self, I just don't have the kind of money. And I sure do miss my Amiga.

A2000's are very cheap if you get just the computer alone w/o monitor.  Try ebay and bid on a dirty one and you're sure to get it cheap!  I found one for $25 Buy it now.  :)
Going Bananas over AMIGAs since 1987...

Looking for Fusion Fourty PNG ROMs V3.4?

I sure can agree and say I know exactly how you feel. But if you are very patient, you could set up a few "favorite searches" on Ebay. You can then set it to email you a daily status of any new Amiga 2000 listings. Then you can pick and choose and try bidding on some of the more reasonable ones. Eventually you will win what you are looking for. That's how I end up doing it and being cash-strapped. Sure, it takes a long time, but eventually ...

If you are open-minded, a few people on here might be able to offer you a 2000 at a reasonable price. Or you can try comp.sys.amiga.marketplace newsgroup or Amibench. I've done a few deals with very nice people on all three locations.

Dude, just go on eBay. After a while, you will find one cheap (50 bucks or less is my idea of cheap, but that may be too much for you).

I bought an a3000 motherboard off ebay for 100 bucks. I did a little hack jobbie to get it powered off a spare atx powersupply i got from a case i found in a trash can... I bought a kb for it off ebay for next to nothing.

If you dont have the resources to buy a cheap amiga, why not just use UAE? It's free and gives you way more flexability anyway. I bought an a1000 to play old games again, but i ended up using UAE instead. No more screwing around with stacks of floppies or waiting for crap to load. UAE means i can take that pimp 21" lcd i just got and drive it at 320x200x32 colors and draw stick figures in dpaint.

At the very least, you could have offered to detial somebodys car or service their wife for a box.
