who thinks of the games to port? and what would.....

I was just sitting here looking at all the games that have been ported to the amiga, and I was just wondering who thinks of the games to be ported? and what games would you's like to see ported to the classic amiga (PPC).  I've noticed alot of tombraider backdrops and icon sets but have never really seen a tombraider style game (except heretic2)surely the amiga could run TR? surely hyperion could talk eidos into letting them make a port! but anyway as I what games would you's like to ported to the amiga?

I have always wanted to be able to port things to amiga. But I do not have the endurence nor amiga knowledge to do so. Since I program for a living I never seem to get enough enthousiasm to start in weekends.

Anyway what I like to port to Amiga 68K is;

From C64;
Creatures II
Blue Falcon
Falcon Patrol I + II
(perhaps more but they don't spring to mind)

And from PC;
MICRO MACHINES II (it looks as an amiga port but I never saw an amiga version of this)
Wacky Wheels (this is kind of 3d but thats ok)

All that modern 3D stuff is not interesting to me.

The games I love to play on the PC:
Half Life series (1, 2, Blue shift etc)
Grand Prix 4
Toca series (Race driver, etc)
Need for Speed:Most wanted

So if these games were available on the Amiga, I would use it more, especially for games playing.

Don't take this the wrong way - I LOVE the Amiga, but when I see that the graphics card drivers support things like the Voodoo series and Radeon 9200, I think 'WHAT ABOUT THE CARDS THAT HAVE BEEN RELEASED IN THE LAST TWO YEARS?'

I don't want to start an argument. The reason for the above comment is that the games I love to play need fast hardware and the gorgeous graphics (which help to distinguish a good game from a great game) are due to the latest graphics cards.

sorry...didn't mean to kill the conversation.

More 'Command and Conquer' style games too would be nice.
