I've started using my Bug joystick after ignoring it for years. Normally I use a Sega Megadrive pad or Quickshot stick.

It would have to be the QUICKSHOT QS-138F AMIGA JOYSTICK.  Very durable controller.

I used to use one of those Slik Stiks for arcade style games. It took a beating and still worked. I can't remember why I don't have it anymore. I mainly used a Kraft, that I still use, and have picked up a second Kraft years ago as a backup.

EDIT

D'uh! I still have my Slik Stik. Just pulled it out... of the closet, all covered in dust.

The zipstick is my favorite.. I got one for both my c64 and my a500 and they both work fine today!

I also had a few competition pro joysticks, but i didnt like them as much as the buttons tended to wear out and get stuck.

i agree The ZIPSTIK was something. the compendium pro was a lookalike but did not last as long nor did it have the same feel.

Quickshot II Turbo.  Much better than all those sticks with the misplaced button on the base of the stick instead of on the trigger where it belongs.

I still use my Quick Joy sv125

http://home.wanadoo.nl/cip/Pagina/JYMS-QuickjoySV-125.htm (random page with a picture)

14 years old and still going strong. Had to change a couple of microswitches(springs). Other than that I like it.

It would be nice to get a competition pro, though.

Look at all the buttons on that!  :-o

Is that a "game timer" on that joystick? LOL!

Anything WICO rocked. I had them all, tracakball, bat handle, arcade ball, etc. You could smash them in anger, gnaw on them in frustration, and beat the tar out of the things and they just kept on working. :)

The only one that wasn't great was the one they bought from Epyx -- those broke all the time for me, I was an abusive lad to my joystick...  :furious:
