What is bundled with the A1XE-boards?
« on: April 06, 2003, 06:06:13 PM »
I wonder what is bundled with the A1XE-boards? Could it be Debian Linux, manuals, CPU-fan and cables? Anyone who knows? I would be happy to know. :-)

Ehm, I don't know. I suggest you get your lazy ass over to my new mailing list (email me privately for details). That way you can get your questions answered without strobe and Kronos giving you a hard time ;-)

Some of the other people who got boards from Gunne this week is already on it, and I've sent email to Datakompaniet that they should tip you, but it's probably best to take it directly.

The new list is for all owners of AmigaOne boards in the nordic countries... And it was made to off-load the public boards, Datakompaniet, GGS-data, Eyetech and myself from repetitive user-questions :-)

Good luck.

Thank you for the information! I sent mail to Datakompaniet and Gunne, so i guess they will tell me directly what is included with the board. I'm so excited! Should be very cool!  :-)  Thank you!

AFAIK

Motherboard... I believe the Documentation comes on a CD with the Linux distro. From what I've made out on various lists its upto the distributor GGS or whoever to duplicate the linux CD's. Not to worry there are AmigaLinux ISO's available already to download if you don't get the CD.

Mai's website has the Teron PX user manual that shows the jumper configurations etc.

You don't get any IDE leads. I recommend some 80 wire ATA100 round cables.

If you a looking for a cool case and case mods then have a look here.
Ebuyer.co.uk
Free delivery at the moment so I guess there might only be a small surcharge to Norway.

Case I've bought, if you have one of the powered by Amiga stickers the boing ball is perfect size for the power button on the front.

Couple of Fans

Round Cables Similar to thse but they glow in the dark.

You didn't contact me to get on the list, though. You prefer to be anonymous and get all your help via amiga.org, then? ;-)
