What about the A3000T I saw in one of the pics?  Do you still have it?  I would be very interested in getting that before you send it to eBay.

How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

Also, do you have any of the old Commodore monitors? Such as the 1940, 1942, 1960 etc. that can do 15kHz and 30+kHz?

Yeah actually I do have a bunch of Amiga monitors.

I have a working 1950 on my test bench, along with a working 1084S and a 1084. I also have other working Amiga monitors but haven't got around to testing them all.

I've always viewed the monitors as "too damn heavy to ship, and who would want to pay for that?" perhaps I've been wrong?

If you want to hear a sad story about Amiga monitors... the company I got all my inventory from used to be the largest Amiga mail order company in North America. They were Commodore Canada's largest customer (they amounted to 60% of all of their business in the last 3 years of Commodore Canada!). How did the "fine folks" at Commodore repay them for their years of loyalty and millions of dollars worth of business?

They sent them a final shipment of about 100 monitors with the deal that "other dealers are screaming for these, if you want them all send us a certified cheque for $21,000 and they're all yours!" So the company did just that, the next day the monitors shipped on 5 or 6 paletts. The day after that Commodore Canada closed their doors for good. Three days later 100 monitors showed up at the Amiga dealer... TWO of them worked.

Those fine upstanding people at Commodore Canada sent them all their 'returned for warranty' garbage. Nice thank you for your years of patronage hey? They probably all got their final paycheques from that last $21,000 cheque and ran for the doors.

Anyway, I recycled 40+ Amiga monitors, fixed the cosmetic ones (changed cases on a few 1950's and 1960 that worked but had cracked cases or broken doors) and sold some of them. What remains here are 2002, 2024, 1950, 1960, 1084S, 1084, 1080, and some others. I might have a 1942 in here somewhere too but I'd have to find it, they're all piled in a corner and each is wrapped in pink bubblewrap so I can't even see wtf is what (bad planning!). I was smart enough to keep most of the RGB cables but I wasn't smart enough to mark which ones go with which monitor type(s).

I'll try each one, eventually, and see which ones work (completely) and list them here before I eBay them. That way if anyone wants one we can figure out a cheap price and find out what shipping would be. Don't hold your breath though, this might not happen before Christmas. You should know beforehand that to ship a monitor averages $40-$60 because of the weight.

No, sorry, that particular A3000T/040 (WB3.1 18MB etc) went to Tom (or was it Jim?) in the USA a couple years back. I also sold the 3000T that was at my toes in that photo (the Digital file server beside the 3000T went for a whopping $30 on eBay as well lol). I have two 3000T's left, one has been completely parted out (the motherboard is currently listed on eBay), the other is missing the ROMS (although I might have found them tonight) and a CIA chip.

All 4 of my 3000T's worked when I tested them, I sold the two that had power supplies and got shafted on the power supply I bought from Centsible (it was dead, and then when I returned it they pretended my emails and faxes never existed and neither did my exchange or my refund nevermind my $60 in lost/wasted shipping) and thus I gave up on getting the remaining two ready for sale.

I could assemble a complete 3000T with the remaining motherboard and all the best parts from both machines but I'm not going to do that. I don't have the time, and it would take hours to re-assemble a computer that would sell for $150 and $120 shipping (they weigh a TON and I do not have any 3000T boxes to ship these giants in anyway).

Do you have any A1200 boxes? I need one in good condition for my mint A1200.   What about Amiga 3000 type floppy drives?  I need one dead or alive.

Gee you know, I tossed out a whole pile of A1200 boxes last year (I would remove the 1200's and contents and reship them in a smarter container I had custom made just for them and CD32 boxes). Check your origiinal thread regarding A3000 drives. :-)

I'll look and see if/what A1200 boxes I still have (I doubt I have many though, if any).

A genuine C= working A3000T would fetch more than $150 on eBay.

CD32 replacement CDROM units (brand new)

I've been after a replacement CD32 drive unit for a while now.  There isn't one list on your ebay auctions - do you have any left or did you just not bother putting them up?  I'd be interested in one being shipped to the UK if you could provide me a price?

That's a great collection you have/had but the 'party' room sounds excellent too!

Cheers,
Martyn.

Actually, shipping monitors by UPS Ground (or equivalent) is not that expensive and these aren't that big so it should cost probably under $50 within Canada. Anyway, I'd be very interested in one of the multisync monitors (1940/1942/1960/etc.) that works, since currently I'm severly limited to 30+kHz VGA modes and those don't work with a lot of software. Anyway, once you get around to checking them out let me know and I'd very much be interested in getting one.

Too bad the ZIPs are 4x256 only (which totals them to 3.75 MB, 3 MB usable) - I'd still love to get the missing 4 MB static column for my A3kD (4x1000)...

I haven't got around to listing them yet.

However, since you're in the UK, you're probably better off getting a new CDR drive for your Amiga from Vesalia.de (search CD32 on their site or browse their specials) as they have some in stock and have them listed at E9.95 -- the shipping would probably be cheaper and faster for you.

I'd give you a link directly to the CD32 CD replacement drive on their site but all their links are session based so you'll get a page not found.
