Using a US A4000 in a PAL country

Would getting a US A4000 working in a PAL country be as simple as changing the jumper on the motherboard and the power supply to 220/240V?  :idea:

I'm pretty sure that'd be about it.  It'd be daft to have put a Pal/ntsc jumper if it doesn't work...then again there's the 8MB chipram jumper  Can't remember right now but I believe the p/s of an A4000D is a switching type.

Yes it's just jumper switch for PAL also make sure it's Buster 11, as I shiped A4000 from the US to Australia (As I could not find one here).But you need new Power Supply as A4000 power supply does not allow you to switch to 110 volts to 220/240 volts as there is no switch for it.
If you can convert a AT PC power supply for the job then your in business otherwise finding 220/240 volt A4000  power supply is going to be hard unless someone on ebay or Amiga User Group in your area has blown there A4000 and are willing to sell you the power supply to you.

Absolutely sir!
I have 2 A4000 american (110V) and i have been using them for the last 4 years with no problem (im located in Argentina, 220V & PAL)
I have them hooked to a 1942 & 1960 monitors, everything works perfect here...

These machines belonged before to some guy who did a lot of video effect & post-production (no Toaster) but you would only need a big power supply who changes from 110v to 220V or a step-down converter if you want to do the opposite (from a 220V to a 110V environment)
