hyperterminal alternative?

I need good terminal program for windowsxp, something like ZOC just better, reccommendations?

Try PuttY. It's a very good terminal program, altough the windows hyperterminal program is good also.

it seems that putty is for telnet, it cannot use RS232 or can it?

SecureCRT, it's not free, but it handles telnet, ssh1 and 2 and console serial connections. Good stuff!

If I'm booted into Windows that's what I'd be using to configure stuff at work.

What's wrong with ZOC?  I've been using it since the OS/2 days.

My favorite Windows terminal is ProComm Plus, but it's not cheap.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(
