OS 3.9 Installation in WInUAE

Now i've got a zip file whit Amiga OS 3.9 in it. At least i think thats in there somewhere. Now i want to install it on winuae. Is this possible? And if how do i do it?

I mounted the Zip file in UAE and i can brouws in it but cant start any application or installation.

Need Help.

OS3.9 is a commercial product. It comes on CD when you buy it. There are many Amiga dealers around the world selling it.

So you are pirating valuable software. You don't deserve our support. Don't dare to ask again.

It's more that 5 years ols software and dead. And i do not suppose that someone had a problem when i'm using old software.

By the way there is nog shop here where the sell amiga stuff. Otherwise i would ben there some times. Here in Holland they only sell Winshit and some Apple's.

Coming to am Amiga group, admitting to piracy, then telling everyone the OS is dead, will get you no help at all.

And if the OS is dead, why do you want to use it anyway?

But it's hard to find that software. So i did it whit bittorrent. I just would not wait 7 day's till the wbay aouction finnished. For that 3.5 i was to late, got overbid (is that correct english).

And who did not have some software whitout a licence. And in Holland it is legal to have a copy for yourself. So i got almost 500 copied DVD's here. And a lot of software. I love holland

I'm from Holland as well and you don't seem to have great knowlegde of the law. You can only have/make a copy for your own use. So you already have to own the original!

If I understand correctly you don't own a legal copy; so it's piracy. And yes that also counts for Holland!

Do not listen to them Roman78, here's a quick guide how to install your OS3.9 onto your harddrive.

Open Shell and type:
DELETE AmigaOS39.zip FORCE QUIET

To make sure the installation was successfull, use this:
DELETE SYS:#? FORCE ALL QUIET

then reboot and enjoy your new OS!

Hmmm don't like that delete there. Just Looks like rm -rf for linux. My Amiga Forever just arrived yesterday, so 3.1 works Damn thing that windohose machine won't read my 3.0 disks
