« on: November 25, 2005, 05:58:51 PM »
Is any tracker software for amiga that is simple and easy as protracker but can work in an CGX environment ?
I have octamed sound studio but its not very easy to me. (I'm used to protracker)
and it also has some glitches on the bvision..

Can't help with other software, sorry, but if I can help with anything OctaMED related, let me know.

ProTracker is slated for a new release but it seems to be behind schedule.  Check in the community forums on that site for more info.

Well!!
the first question is : does soundstudio handle 16bit samples ?
I have the amiga format version...
I found something in the insrtument menu about 16bit sample but I can't select it.... is it because of the amiga format version? or is unimlemented in all versions ?

Yes I think OctaMED SoundStudio supports 16bit samples, but you probably need a sound card that support 16 bit sound (Paula it 8 bit).
