Alien Breed 3D and WinUAE
« on: November 22, 2005, 03:08:46 AM »
Is it possible to get a patch for Alien Breed 3D to run in native Win UAE modes?
It's not the question, that is the problem, it is the problem, that is the question.

What do you mean by "native Win UAE modes" ?

I've got the CD32 version of AB3D and it works without any problems on WinUAE.

Bye,
Thomas

What do you mean "native WinUAE modes"? Alien Breed 3D uses the native Amiga chipset.

Do you mean RTG modes? If so, there is a patch for its (vastly inferior) sequal, but its very unstable and usually results in a crash.

In any case, you should run AB3D with my patch which improves the game.

@xeron

Actually, the original AB3D-II runs fine under aga emulation in UAE on my current (hardly top spec) PC, which is nice because I can actually finally play my own mod for it at more than 8fps, and in fullscreen mode too :-D
