SymphonyOS - logo amiga rip off?

IS it just me or is this logo a little too close to the Amiga's?

The OS is a Linux distro btw with a custom Desktop system

Agreed.  It does look very inspired by the Amiga logo.
Hopefully the GUI for this distro is also Amiga inspired :)

Well, it does look inspired, but it's not that difficult to create 2 white and 2 red squares and turn them x degrees.

For that matter the creator might be croatian, or polish or danish. Or just one who like checkered patterns...

But it sure looks quite a bit Amiga inspired.

It sure does look Amiga inspired.........trust me.if this was WIndows or Mac OS logo similarity....people would know and there would be a lawsuit.

But also  Windows XP has a Picture icon that looks like a Boingball except only 4 checkers.....I would stay away from that stuff as it would confuse people.

CD32 is actually the best Amiga ever made by Commodore!...

Wow!   I just looked at the Logo again!  it is definitely an Amiga Ripoff!! I will proove it!!!

Look at this link:

http://www.symphonyos.com/beta1-ss/6.png

Notice that not only does it have the red and white checkers.  but it is also a Square and also tilted at the same exact angle as the Red square above the letter "i"  in the Word Amiga! no one agles a square at such a weird angle.

It is basically a comination of 2 Amiga logos.the Boing Ball and the Red Square.............think about it.if you were going to mix the Boing ball with the Square.this is what it would look like!

They are stupid for doing this.........they will cause people to think it has soemthing to do with AmigaOS and not even give this OS a chance.

Someone needs to contact Amig Inc.

CD32 is actually the best Amiga ever made by Commodore!...

Actually, I think it looks like a marriage of the Amiga boingball and the Windows window symbol (eek!)
