BLIZZARD TURBO MEMORY BOARD - Phase 5 - 14Mhz Amiga 500
« on: November 06, 2005, 05:46:09 PM »
I am selling my Blizzard Turbo Memory Board (Phase 5) on Ebay.

Have a look at my auction:

Blizzard Turbo Memory - the only accelerator that Phase 5 ever produced for the Amiga 500.

The board is in full working order and has been tested by me yesterday in my Amiga 500.
On the screenshots you can see the memory test programm which is supplied with the board. All memory banks have been tested as "Passed".

The Board is currently equipped with 1MB FAST-RAM and 512KB Shadow-RAM and can be upgraded to a maximum of 8MB.
The RAM is Siemens-branded and rated with fast 70ns (note that some boards also have been equipped with 100ns RAM).
Using the Shadow-RAM it is possible to copy Kickstart images/files (also the internal ROM) to the fast RAM of the Blizzard Board.
In combination with the direct and fast CPU-Memory bus, the speed of the A500 is more than doubled. The 68000 CPU runs at 14Mhz.

Due to its shape, the Blizzard can also be used for upgrading an Amiga 1000 equipped with a Phoenix-board.

This auction includes:

    * Phase 5 Blizzard Turbo Memory Board (1MB FAST-RAM, 512KB Shadow RAM)
    * Blizzard Utility Software Disk
    * Copy of the Manual (German/English)

If there are any question, please do not hesitate to ask me! I will ship internationally.
