Auctions, auctions everywhere
« on: October 27, 2005, 05:16:33 PM »
I have several items up for auction on ebay. I also have auctions on auctionfire.com and us.ebid.tv. I have heard of another auction site called lopdog.com, but they do not yet have an Amiga, or a Commodore, category. Any thoughts?

The ID on all the auction sites is centsisoft.

How about a link to your Auctions buddy? :-)
CD32 is actually the best Amiga ever made by Commodore!...

You can say I have a dirty mind, but 'blowout' isn't a word I would normally associate with auctions...

Perhaps cos we don't use it like that in Brit English.

(Although we would use it for a tyre)

I like Amigas

Centsible Software eh. There were major problems with Centsible 1 or 2 years ago. Search a.org for 'centsible'.

Not saying it's still like that, but you never know.

Well I ordered some items and they arrived but 1 item was missing.  A Commodore 1581 PS.  I emailed him several times over a few days and he finally replies saying according to the shipping weight it should of been in there but it was not!  We shall see what he does...

-UPDATE-

Well they came through and sent me a 1581 PS, so I can report prompt and excellent service from them this time!!!
Going Bananas over AMIGAs since 1987...

Well, Centsible Software USED to be a very reputable dealer, back 5-10 years ago.  Unfortunatly the name and back stock have changed hands at least twice since then.  Personally, I'd approach with great caution.

Use caution if you feel you must, but a change in owners is no reason to stay away. :-D

BTW, how does the ratings system work and what are the criteria for advancement in it?

Caution never hurt anyone I guess :-). Which rating system do you mean? On ebay? Or do you mean the ranking thingy here on a.org?
