For Sale: 3 PCMCIA WiFI cards, Amiga compatible
« on: October 26, 2005, 10:21:35 PM »
I have 3 NetGear MA401 PCMCIA WiFi cards for sale at £20 each. They work in Amiga's, Mac's and x86 machine with PCMCIA ports.

I can provide drivers for all platforms on request.

Please email me if you'r interested in one.

Any chance of WPA on the Amiga?!  :-D

Seriously, though, when using a WiFi card on an Amiga, is the driver software able to support any form of security, even the flawed WEP standard?

Yes, 128 bits WEP works just fine with the prism2.device on my A600 :) No WPA though. Great driver anyway, fast and stable.

is that prism2.device readily available, or is it proprietory to some company? In other words, can I get it? I have p2 card that I would like to try in my 1200. Also, know a good site for details?
I could probably google this..
