How to change LUN on CD Changer?
« on: October 23, 2005, 03:54:19 PM »
Hi,

I have just bought a scsi II Nakmichi cd changer (5 disc).

i have attached it to my Blizzard PPC scsi board but when i boot into workbench the drive doesnt show up until i have rescanned the drives. When i rescan and install it using cacheCDFS it is fine. But when i reboot it cant open the devices because they need to be rescanned first.

I heard that i need to change the LUN settings for the cd changer. When i try to do that with UNITCONTROL that came with the blizzard, the settings dont save. Is there another piece of software.

Does anyone have any clues what to do.

Thanks all.

Have you tried accessing the BPPC menu by holding down the ESC button on bootup??? If not, try it, and go to the SCSI settings menu and set the lun of the unit the CD changer is installed on to 8.

Thanks Doc, you are a hero. I have never been in the early blizzard menu before.

Cheers.
