Wish to buy a serious A2000 accelerator
« on: October 19, 2005, 05:39:40 PM »
Hello.

I wish to buy a better A2000 accelerator than my Commodore A2630, a 040 at least.

I see some of them from time to time on ebay, but there is always some mad guys to bid a crazy amount, although i am willing myself to spend a fair price.

I come here to seek some serious seller for a direct arrengement.

Alternatively, i could be interesed by the addon modules for my A2630 to get at least 50 Mhz and some 32bits RAM.

Thanks.

You should look on Amibench, and place a wanted-ad there.

I know this is not what you are looking for, but I just saw an A2000 with a Vector 030 accellerator w/32mb RAM & SCSI 2.  I used to have that same setup as my main computer for a couple of years.  I sold the Vector years ago and regretted it instantly, but I was lucky to find an 060 board at the begining of this year on eBay for big bucks.

The scsi part on that turboboard can also speed up the handling a lot as the computer doesn´t lose time getting the  data from a controller on the Zorro2 busboard  :-)

@ Orange,

I saw the Vector w/A2000 on eBay yesterday.  I don't remember when the auction was ending.

@Xanxi...

I have an GVP TekMagic 060 @ 50 mhz with 128 megs ram
that I'm not using right now but I'm not sure I want to
sell it.
I wouldn't be interested in any trades, I have everything
I want for my A2000 except a good GFX card.
If you want to try and convince me to sell, you can EMail
me.
