CANADA among worst polluters!
You will notice that America, Canada, and Belgium are among the worst and Sweden, Switzerland, and Denmark are among the best this can't be drawn to a simple, "capitalism" vs. "socialism" issue. Perhaps it has more to do with a philosophy and/or mind set.
As an American I challenge other Americans (particularly those with free market notions) to ask oneself, "why is the USA not in the lead, but among the last?" Please don' think of it in terms of pure headline market politics or the market ideals of "cheap consumer products" make and/or sell product, but let's enter the Way Back Machine and think of it in terms of Doo Doo in the Street.
