which is better ScanQuix 5.0 or FxScan 4.0?

Any pros and cons please let me know. (USB version if possible)

You cannot compare these two. ScanQuix is a scanner driver and a GUI, FxScan is just a GUI. For FxScan you still need scanner drivers, either ScanQuix or BetaScan (the latter is free).

FxScan is the only software that provides OCR.
FxScan looks more beautiful.
ScanQuix is more intuitive.

Could authors of the 2 programs work together to build only one app which is intuitive, beautiful and powerfull ??? :)

fxscan uses betascan or scanquix drivers (or it's own iosub I suppose)

so fxscan is the best of both worlds, I assume.
