WHat is TTL? is it RGB?

Hello all......I have this Old Video Printer from 1988 that has S-Video input...VGA input, and TTL input as well as Svideo OUT and VGA out and TTL OUT. the TTL looks like the RGB port behing the 1084 monitors.is this the same as RGB on the Amiga?
Can I connect my AMiga to this and have the Output going to my monitor through the TTL OUT?
THis devise is cool......amazingly advanced and seems to have been created for an Amiga as it matches the A2000 color...it frame grabs and prints the screen onto photo paper.

TTL usually stands for Transistor to Transistor Logic. If that is indeed the case here it's probably for attaching it to a CGA video card/monitor which uses digital signals.

Are you sure? as some Amiga Monitors say "TTL on the back and have a switch for it......I think it was for Commodore 128 computers.

TTL in this case is a digital RGB mode. There are only 2 bits of info per color though.. not all that usefull on Amigas. You're right that this mode was included on Amiga monitors for use with the C128.

@leirbag28: Sounds like an interesting device... can you post a picture of it somewhere, along with a picture of what the printed output looks like? Just curious!

More to the point, TTL is 0 (digital low) to +5 (digital high) volts operation, as opposed to CMOS which is 0 to +12 volts. All Amigas have both digital and analog video output, the analog passing through a DAC first.

Mac Mini 1.5GHz, that might run MorphOS someday, when the fools who own it come to the realization that 30 minutes just isn\'t enough time to play with it enough to decide whether or not you like it enough to cough up $200.
- Someone please design SOME kind of DIY accelerator for the A4000.
