I'm always up for a bit of research on prototypes.  :-)

I've only cracked open my CD32 once, but I don't remember what the motherboard revision was.

Can you provide more details as to what this unit looks like?

There was 3 revisions made, seeing you have revision 2 it was not the last revision.

I've got a couple of CD32's laying around here... They were floating around on the attic at some of Norways biggest Amiga-shops in the early 90's. I got them for cleaning up the attic :-) Don't know the revision though.
I also found a delivery ticket on a cardboardbox wich had Petro's name on it :-)

13 A4000s?
Please give one of them to me. It's only fair. :-)

@carls

I know.. what is unfair, is that they stopped producing them... sooner or later i will need more of them as i'm renting out infochannel systems.

Most of them have old batteries that leaked acid, so i removed them. Buying new batteries on monday.

If you really need a 4000, i could sell you one, but i guess there's 4000's for sale in Sweden as well..?
Just let me know :-)

I had to search-out for my FMV as far away as Perth WA.

The trouble is its output degenerated into RED-tinted video.
The Demo Disc 2, which come with the FMV, is a worthy CD to own.

The other of my two CD32s is presently doing duty as an Audio CD Player.

As stated previously, the rev 2 PCB was for developers and was the first one to work without the debug board.

The rev 3 PCB was the general release PCB for PAL/NTSC markets and is the most common type. The Rev 4 PCB was for the French SECAM TV system, the only change being the video encoder.

I may have a list fo changes from Rev 2-3 somewhere. If it works fine, be happy.

cd32 and FMV is not mystical, it was commonly sold here, i have had 2 ..now i have 1 (sold 1 on ebay) , i use my cd32 almost everyday ...for playing games and old demos that wont work on my 060 ppc setup, i have a Sx1 and mb fast and a 20gb hdd in it...and a floppy drive , a puzastick (8button JOYSTICK) and lots and lots of games for it (95% of every cubo and cd32/cdtv title ever released....boxed and good ofcourse :)

but my gf play rodland too much on it...so i cant use as much as i want,....and ofcourse deluxe galaga she plays on it...hehe

cheers
