You're younger than me aren't you?

Ooooh, flatterer :-D

The sad truth is, I was 30 in February.

@ Cyberus

Sometimes I feel that old. Especially when you consider the total turkeys I have to work with. But I only have one or two (or three) years on Karlos

"...I wonder how many members fall into our age group?..."
------------------------------------------------------

Actually that is a great idea for a poll. I would guess the age bands would go like this (in descending order):

20s
30s
teens
40s
50s and up

@X-Ray

I seem to recall there was one at one point, but I was in the twentysomething bracket then :-)

I hate to depress you further Karlos, but I can't even see that poll in the archive :-(

Mind you, they do only go back 2 years.

That's ok mate, I never get depressed at the notion of getting older. It's just life :-)

Of course, my attitude invariably changes as the next birthday rolls into view ;-)

I think that happens to everyone once they've passed the 21 mark :-)

I think the worst one was the big 30. Man not being at his peak anymore and all that. 40 will be a b1tch psychologically but I can't see any problems after that.
Oh well, here's to the thirties  :pint:

Yes, after 25 it all started going downhill for me, and at 28 i'm now trying to starting getting healthy again (mentally and physically), so that when I do hit the big three-o it hopefully won't be as bad as i'm anticipating.

"...Your'e only as old as you feel..."

or as the woman you feel  :-P

Ja, I realised a few months back that I needed to adjust my habits to my current metabolism and job. So I am attacking the squash court with vigour. This week I played squash every day after work. The preceding Sunday I played three sessions in a row and on Thursday I did a double session. I feel alright. I am getting back my speed, agility and power. I may weigh close to 90kg but I can shift. Just yesterday the dude from histology asked me if I was on something because I pulled off some nifty dashes. Well, I've cut out quite a bit of rubbish from my diet and the exercise definitely helps.
I'll be damned if I give up chocolate though...

Well, I don't eat meat anymore, I meditate (well, when I can be arsed), I don't take drugs anymore, I'm gonna start martial arts training again and i'm giving up smoking again on Tuesday (My official quit date).

I'll be damned if I give up the beer though! :-D
