Freespace freezes

   Has anyone have this problem before and most importantly can it be solved;while playing for a awhile the game simply freezes,i am using a 060 ppc + bvision both have case fans on top providing enough air,has for software i am using CGX V4,latest warpos version from aminet and warp3d.
   I would apreciate some help,thank you!

This used to happen to me when I was using the popular 2x128MB HP memory with my 060/240Mhz BPPC. Switiching to a different brand solved the eventual freeze that I was experiencing with the HP memory. What worked for me is a pair of 50ns 64MB modules as well as a pair of (not HP, but PowerMem) 60ns 128MB simms.

It's possible that your ram is kind of intolerant whenever extensive usage of 603e occurs.

I had the same problem... I solved it by making sure I had the latest Freespace update and it's worked fine ever since.
