AVNC problem?

I have experimented with different VNC servers for the amiga.
AmigaAnywhere and AmiVNC seem to work fine albeit a bit slow on my miggy 4000/040-Cybergrfx 64 combo.  
The promise of a faster update made me try   AVNC server  
Running the server seems to work as advertised on the ami side, the PC VNC viewer shows the initial screen but does not update.  
Only when I ask for a screen refresh do I get a new update.  
Is this a feature or setting of AVNC or is there some problem ?  
I tried different VNC viewers on the PC side but all seem to react the same.  
Anyone had any experience with this VNC server ?  Thanx for any help

I just tried AVNC on my A1200 Blizzard 1260/50 with a Mediator+Voodoo 3 and I got the same result as you. Maybe messing around with some tooltypes might fix it?

I will keep trying.  If I come up with some sollution I will post it here.  Meanwhile I also mailed the problem to the owner of the website.  Maybe he will be so kind to shed some light on this.
At least now I know it's not just me...
