Shinenet PCMCIA freezes system
« on: September 14, 2005, 06:28:25 PM »
Hi, it's me again with another problem on my evening hobby project!

This time it's the network. I bought Power-lan that came with the Shinenet LCS8534TB card from Longshine. So it should work with the Amiga since I bought a specific Amiga lan solution!

But it freezes my workbench as soon as there is any lan communication. Doesn't matter what software I try. I have the reset board in place and I tried it on two different A1200's; same result...

Any thoughts?

Maybe a PCMCIA-incompatible card in the A1200?

Yeah could be, but why would Power Computing deliver an imcompatible card with a product for the A1200?
