Missing bilndave.mpg - Commodore DVD
« on: September 11, 2005, 01:20:26 AM »
As noted on ANN a few weeks back, the Bil Herd/Dave Haynie presentation "bilndave.mpg" was briefly available at ftp://ftp.zimmers.net/pub/pics/bilndave.mpg

However it only stayed there for two days or so, which is not really enough time to download it all (I managed to get the first 28Mb). Now it's gone.

Does anyone know why this was deleted? Is there somewhere I can download it!?

I imagine it might have something to do with the 2000 some odd Amiga users who went and downloaded it at least once.  That's a lot of bandwidth.

I can put it up for a while if you want to finish getting it.

http://shell.exo.com/~tim/amiga/bilndave.mpeg

It will take 15-20 more minutes before it is finished.

Hope that helps.. if it does not get hit too hard I can leave it there for a while.
