Simply plug the Scan-do adapter in the 23-pin RGB video port of your Amiga, and connect a standard VGA monitor to the 15-pin port on the Scan-do...and viola!

How about a cello instead?

Holy shhh.... :-o
Bought mine also with the original box on Amibench 6 months ago for £50
Feels like this is a must have piece of hardware for poor old A600 and A500 who are tired of their old dying RGB monitors

Thought the price was a joke for a minute! And then realised that people have bid this far from 99c!

At least the seller will be laughing all the way to the bank!

G'day Guys,

I've been chasing just this sort of external scandoubler for a while now... nobody seems to have them.  I was prepared to pay about $200 for one.. but nobody would sell me one :(

Where is everybody getting these things for like UKP50 or less?

I've tried

www.anythingamiga.com
www.vesalia.de
www.elbox.com
www.amigainnovations.com
www.eyetech.co.uk

but nobody can source an external one :(

Any suggestions?

Guess you have to be lucky to find one at a reasonable price, I had been looking for over 2 years to find one...had lost several auctions at Ebay and was also willing to pay lots of $$$ to get one but it didnt matter since the auctions were sniped to pieces in the last seconds of the auction.
Just have faith and keep looking and ask around if someone has one, put a wanted ad at amibench for one.

Rumours say that Softhut is going to start a new production in conjunction with Individual Computers.

There was one of these on ebay a few weeks ago that went for £198 which is $356. It's silly the cost of scandoublers
