Font question for Ibrowse
« on: March 21, 2003, 01:47:16 PM »
I running my screen in 1280x1024 and was wondering what the best Font to use on Ibrowse in this screen mode.

I hate the Times and Courier fonts.

I have loads of Fonts so any ideas to make my webpages look better on the Amiga than on the PC.

Trial and error for the fonts...
But that is a huge mode to surf the net though...(imho), most web-pages are only geared to 800 x 600.

This guide is pretty much essential for setting up fonts for Voyager and I would suspect other browsers as well. Simply transfer the applicable settings to IBrowse and you can get far away from that nasty, nasty, Times and Courier.

Hello erol,

If you look at the site of Voyager, you see the following link. I followed these steps and my IBrowse works nicely with it in all screenmodes.

I managed to get some TTFonts followed the instructions on using TTManager.
I using version 6.4 which is newer than the onces documentated in the guide you provided.

How does TTManager install the fonts ready for use, v6.4 does not give any detailed user guide.
(i.e how does Ibrowse find the fonts??)

http://www.amiga.pl/ttengine/index-en.html

Can anyone help me on this?
