Where can I get an A600 mem expansion?

Hmmm, they look like SIMMs on that board. I wonder if it can be upgraded?

I've got a fair few that I dont need. There are the ones that use the 256k simms for up to 1mb (they're fully populated)

Can remember if they have a clock though

I'm looking for the same thing myself these days...

The elbox one has on-board battery, so that's a plus. The ram on the simm's cant be upgraded, and even if it could the amiga wont go beyond 2M chip.

Do NOT buy an A600 expansion that takes SIMMS. It can only ever be 1mbyte regardless of what SIMMS it has, plus the weight of the card + SIMM sockets + SIMMS makes it too heavy and it regularly comes loose giving you the "Yellow Screen of Death"

Get an A601 if you can

Yes, I thought the chip RAM limit might come into it. Was hoping they might've built it so it assigned the first extra meg as chip and the rest as fast.

Thanks for the tip on the weight. Definitely would be an issue with mine as it's regularly moved.

I'm now seriously thinking about geting an accelerator instead.

What are these like?

You're probably about 8 years too late on the order.  Last time I checked, they didn't even have accelerators for the A1200.
