dead A2000
« on: June 18, 2005, 07:22:39 PM »
Well, I replaced the fan in power supply, but A2000 won't boot now.  :-(  :-(  :-(  :-(
The PSU is good, I've tested it with another A2000. Power LED lights up but the screen stays black, no change at all. Yesterday I have changed ROM and installed the HDD, but it worked. What could it be?
PLease, help. TIA.
Better sorry than worry.

Did it boot before you replaced the fan?
If so then it´s probably easy to locate, make sure everything is plugged in right and every chip is pressed down firmly.  :-)

A few minutes ago it worked again, but after reassambling no boot. Once I got red screen (bad ROM?)
