HELP with GVP 2060 card!
« on: March 14, 2003, 04:52:16 AM »
Hello Everyone
I have a GVP 2060 card here - 060 for A2000 computer. The small metal IC box to the upper left of the 68060 chip broke off. Is it the clock oscillator? What is the speed? Also, where can I get a replacement. Thank you so much.

Hello,

According to the pictures I can find, it most likely is the
oscillator crystal. Normally it should be 50mhz (for a
50mhz '060) but if you stick a fan/heatsink on the cpu
you could probably overclock to 60 or 65mhz without
any problems.

I'm not sure where to get a replacement, but they shouldn't be
hard to find.
