All who had trouble with RTG demos on a P96 system (I'm talking
software render btw.) should try eg. MCP screenmanager functions.
I have the following sort of prefs (for five productions):

(Never mind the modeids, just pick 8 bit)
As you can see this and some other productions use two resolutions, so
there is a replacement mode set for each (equal to or higher than
the ideal resolution). I do know there are other perhaps more
elegant ways, I may not even need it myself currently.

thematic , good that you brought this up , since this doesnt work on my setup (voodoo), neither ppc or rTG.
Sadly i dont use mcp so i dont know how it would be possible for me to take advantage of what you said ;(

but i hope alot of more people read it as its some good tip!! ...

now if only i had some more ppc demos...

but to clear up some mis info here, the wEBSITE i am doing is "ONLY" for PPC demos, and its not a ScrEENSHoT place its a place where you can find ALL ppc demos FAST and without getting info no one wants.

I like ADA but i it doesnt have the demos i need for now.

And eventually WHEN i have all demos i will TRY to make snapshots for your website, but notice i sAID "TRY" , anyway i am collecting for both of us, so no need to be mad or angry.

i will let u know in a week or something IF i have all demos and what demos to make snapshots of ...IF POSSIBLE ..as i told you before making snapshots of ppc demos is hard, for many reasons..atleast on a 603 setup. (because of the extensive cpu usage)

First demo for AmigaPPC was made by DecSix on Quast. It was rybkaPPC. They did it one night before party, so it is not so good as latests productions. They also have unrelased game for PPC, Vertep. A Vipeout-alike racing.

Lempkee: Maybe you could use an AGA mode for the demos and snapshot through the tv card window (assuming available cpu). Im not sure if its a solution, but if it is possable to snap the screenshots should still be acceptable when miniturised for online viewing.

Mad:yes i could, and i have tried... the quality of the shots (on the demos who was AGA and system friendly) was pretty dire and imho not acceptable, i will try some other things very soon.

opi: if you have the demo or a link i would appriciate if you could send it, btw where is this group now? ..alive?...on any format? or the members? ... why didnt the game get released? , surely is a market for drive em ups (ask anywhere ...
