Help!! Looking for 2 old games
« on: June 05, 2005, 10:47:00 AM »
Hi All,

I am still looking (unsucessfully) for two old games that I saw while flicking through some very old CU Amiga mags a few years ago (those were the days!).

The Games were Legend and World of Legend: Son of The Empire. These are Isometric Turn Based RPG of a quality lacking in some of todays games.

I have tried Blade and although it is a nice game its too slow paced and lacks some action, and I keep getting killed by this really big God Like being even in the first dungeon.

I have been unable to find them on Ebay, CQout or even Amibench. The only other place I can get them is to download them illegaly, but I dont want to do that I want the original disks and if possible the manual and Box.

Does anyone have these 2 games? I am willing to pay but I hope someone can give them to me for free!!!

Thanks,
AmiBoy

Just download it if you cant get it legally... what else choice do you have? By the way, does your 060 need a fan? I want to overclock my CS MkII but I am wondering whether it is worth risking not buying a fan for it.
My Amigas: A4000 w/CS Mk II \'060, Picasso IV, 128Mb, OS3.9
Stock A4000 040 w/16Mb, OS3.0

@samanosuke

Hi,

I would definitly not like to download the files If I can help it (viruses, trojans, spyware etc.). But as you say what choice do I really have.

As for the 060 its not overclocked and 060's dont really get that hot and Im not ruuning my 1200 for more than 2 hours at a time anyway as Im mainly using my PS2 for gaming.

But if you want to overclock your 060 onjly overclock it to 60 or 64MHz as Ive heard anything oover thant for a stock 060 50MHz will burn it out.

Thanks,

Also one spare unworking bare A1200

Hey good news is that I in fact have an original copy of legend with the manual but no box. If you're interested I'd be willing to trade for a good working amiga mouse or a spare cd32 joypad... but I'm willing to haggle  :-P
The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and looked from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which
