AmigaWorld.net outage?
« on: May 31, 2005, 11:05:12 PM »
I was just on this morning and now it's offline.  I didn't see any announcement this morning about a planned outage.  Does any one know the cause?

It died on me just as I clicked Submit on a post I was writing,  I managed to cut and paste the post to a text file so I do not have to type it all out again ;-)

I have not heard about any planned outages, I tried pinging the server but got no response.  Looks like a crash to me :-(

I'm sure it will be back soon.

The server runs AW.net, AmigaDev.AmigaWorld.net, os4depot and other websites.  All of them down.

It wasn't my fault... ;-)

Seems like a crash indeed, I'm getting operation timed out errors from pinging.

Hopefully it'll be back on track soon  :-)

Hehe, that site (http://wrongpla.net) is so like a crash accident. It's sad, and awful to look at it, but you just _have_ to take a peek. ;D

Edit: http://wrongplanet.net is the wrong url, although it seems like a similar site.

Hi mdma,

Who, who, ... who?

So I guess that A500, 600, 1000, 2000, CDTV, CD32, are pure garbage then? Thanks for posting here.
