CARDBOARD(!) Amiga 1200!

Hey Yo!

Pretty decent spec Amiga 1200. The only problem is it's in a cardboard casing.........

You know I did that with an A1200 for someone, only I made I more of a
tower. I looked very nice. When it was all done I used fiberglass and
coverd the box inside and out. Then sanded and put on a good boat
paint after and sealed it. Sanded it to a super smooth finish and
painted it again with a clear coat and rubbed it smooth. It looked
aweseome. It even had a mediator and PPC card in it. You could never
tell it wasnt made as a real tower when it was done.

yup i notice this, its quite a nice set up except for the case. but you could buy it and sort that out i guess

LOL guys :-) I wouldn't be too harsh, the guy looks as though he worked well hard on getting he case right! ;-) Wouldn't the thing fall apart during delivery transaction?

There was a guy in my users group back in Md who made a A1200 case out of wood!  He even cut the big pressed "AMIGA" out of the A1200 case and put it on the front!!!

I think there are some pics somewhere....
