Anyone going there this weekend? With a bit of luck (depending on the weather) I'll go there tomorrow :-).

Actually I'm going down to Farnborough this weekend... though not for an airshow :-)

Oh, no, but both places regularly hold airshows (I've been many times) :-)

I'd love to go.  I last went five years ago during a non-flying day, but was treated to an impromptu display by a Mk IX Spitfire being put through it's paces.

Anyone who's never heard a Rolls Royce Merlin engine is in for a treat, plus you'll never believe just what a sixty two year old vintage plane is capable of.

For the record, the Spit was in French Air Force colours.

Thunderbolt and Mustang flyby (bit wobbly)
Cool stuff :-D.

Spent friday and saturdaynight at Headcorn, flew in a microlight from the Northern part of the Netherlands via Calais and Dover to England. Saturdaymorning we took off from Headcorn and landed about 10 ish local time at Duxford and flew back in the evening to Headcorn.

Very nice weekend.

Heh, I think you're seeing M$ doing it's worst concerning picture editing software and JPEG compression routines :-).

i find this "is it rendered" reaction a real funny one!

here's a snow pic I took with a digital camera and people posted thier opinion that it was rendered.

have you all forgotten what reality looks like????

The snow looks real enough to me.

I did notice the first bloke to think the snow was rendered in that thread is a Greek/Aussie.

I'm from the North of England, I'm used to snow! :-D
