I'll buy one.

I'm being forced to get a PC atm for programs like Logic, Reason, Recycle etc...

I'd like something on the Amiga that could import & export projects compatable with these progs. A good program on the Amiga is a start.

@Alkemyst

Would a head-to-head review of Prostation Audio and Audio Evolution be a cool idea?

Before everyboy gets crazy about the fact that AudioLabs will be included with MOS, I would ask BBRV for more details.

It would be pretty impressive if he would be talking about the *full* unrestricted version that currently ships for 360 EUR - but I somehow doubt that they're going to include this one.

It's like saying "AudioEvolution 4 will be included with AmigaOS4". It will, but only the SE version.

I would bet that the version Of PSA that will come with morph would be the light version.  4 Tracks, two left, two Right.  However, do not let this bring you down, all the other GREAT features of PSA will be there.  If you morph dudes have never seen PSA, you are in for a real treat.  Floyd and I have been selling PSA in the states for the last 4.5 years, since its earliest beginning when I was the president of the Sacramento Amiga Computer club.  Its been used at  emrl to master sound tracks and Foley for many of our movie projects and Public Service Announcement.  This program, PSA has bee tried and tested in the most demanding professional Media and has been a major tool for EMRL Media Group and is Highly worth what ever you would pay for it.  Mos people are really in for a Treat :-o  :-D

ProStation Audio included in MorphOS!!!
« Reply #18 on: March 15, 2003, 04:53:41 PM »
Hi Christophe -- here are the details:

ProStation Audio Platinum will be included WITH MorphOS.  It IS the same version that ships today for 360 Euros with the exception of one MPEG library that allows it to function as a DVD player.  This ONE library could not be sub-licensed.  Everything else is included.

Everything should be clear now.  We will handle DVDs in another way.

Sincerely,

Raquel and Bill  :-)
Genesi

@Miranda

You make it sound like its a MOS only APP.

It will run on Aos4 as well.

Then ill have the choice of AE & PSA for Aos4.

Hi Bill,

Well, Wilse, if you start a Pegasos User Group in Scotland we might be able to make a deal much sooner...

Sounds great, except that so far I only know of two other Scottish users who are interested in a next generation machine. :-(
However, it's an interesting idea and I'm sure there's a potential base. I'll certainly keep my eyes open. If it looks viable, I'll definitely be in touch.

That is truely fantastic. I take my virtual hat off to you. :-D
My main interest is recording music and this type of news is exactly my cup of tea. Even the 'lite' version would have been great news.

Yes, it does run on Amiga os, however, PSA has been under development and optomized I think alot for Morph.  I am sure it will run on both AOS and Morph, but I suspect it will be better on Morph, however, I could be wrong.  I have herd nothing in regards to it being writen for AOS 4 but I could be wrong.  Iwill have to contact Maurizo and ask.  Its been a while since I have written him.

Huge amount of speculation find the facts first before makeing out that your speculation may be true or not when the facts are in most cases very easy to find out.

No where on the site does it state optimized for MOS.

Good Point speculation is bad.  But seeing that PSA has been using Dual processors and has been optomized for Power PC, and not to mention it has been running om Morph for some time now, not to mention Maurizo has been working with Morph OS for some time Now, over a year, Go ahead and speculate.  It WILL ROCK on Morph!!!!!! I know IT!!!!!!

IF the PPC moduels dont work on Aone/Aos4 that are already there in PSA & they have no plans to make them work with Aos4 then its of no use to me as i will not use such timming critcal app in 68k emulation.

BBRV untill i see a statement from the PSA team about MOS optim,i will take "itis" with a pinch of salt.
