This is the auction for 128 MB RAM SIMM 72-PIN - FPM RAM - 66 MHz - 5V - 60ns - Parity modules. I offer four of these but I have got plenty of them in stock for the time being. The price I ask includes Ebay charges and PayPal charges and the items will be sent by Prior mail and not by economy  :-)

I also have another similar auction with different pricing but those who can count will see that the price at the end is exactly the same

Effy is the official distributor of 128MB memory modules for Blizzard accelerators. He bought a licence from haymiggan at the beginning of the year. :-)

Now that you mention Haymiggan, I just decided to visit his website and found myself being logged onto a Danish website ... in Danish of course

I ask 36 euro or 25 GBP for one module, shipping to any place on the planet included, no PayPal charges and Ebay costs are also mine. If somebody would like to save money by buying it outside Ebay then naturally I don´t have to add Ebay charges, so then it´s minus 2 euro or minus 2,5 USD. If somebody in the European Union can transfer it to my bank account then I also don´t have to add the PayPal charges so then it´s also minus 2 euro or 2,5 USD  :-)

-module bought on Ebay and paid by PayPal : 36 euro or 46 USD
-module not bought on Ebay but paid by PayPal : 34 euro or 43.5 USD
-module not bought on Ebay and paid by bank transfer : 32 euro or 41 USD

In all of the three choices I end up having the same which is 32 euro from which I also have to pay the shipping costs of course

To add a tiny sense of humor to reality I decided to post my auctions about 128 Mb modules again

THIS is the Ebay link to one auction and for those who prefer another currency there is THIS auction, not that those two are different of course

How the hell can the above be true??? So you do charge PayPal fees, it´s just included in the price. I wouldn´t call it no PayPal fees then.

Very well noticed on that advert of three months ago and I did write "The price I ask includes Ebay charges and PayPal charges and the items will be sent by Prior mail and not by economy",  but meanwhile I dropped my price to 32 euro or 22 GBP shipping included. I found out the good side of PayPal months ago when I got a payment from Australia to my bank account. The buyer had to pay 20 euro to his bank and from the money that was transferred my bank also kept 20 euro ... so that´s when I stopped charging for the use of PayPal, even if it costs me 4% ...
Besides Doctorq, I find in your advert about the Blizzard PPC " +5% (PayPal fee) paid to my PayPal account"   I don´t blame you for asking that, PayPal is far from free, it´s just that people don´t like that extra´s are added on top of the selling price  :-) Besides, does PayPal really charge 5% ???  :-?

Yes, I normally say +5% for PayPal fees on the items I sell. The reason is simple, PayPal is not free as you mention, and as I see it, it shouldn't cost me money to sell an item, hence the 5% extra. People can pay to my bank account instead, but then they still would have to pay extra because of the reasons you mention in the range of 20-25 EURO and they loose their PayPal buyer protection or what it is called. Still PayPal is cheap than bank transfer.

PayPal doesn't charge 5%, but their calculations in my oppinion are wierd. A start price, and then a percentage of the amount to a certain level, and then a different percantage for the next level IIRC.

I decided a long time ago that I wouldn't want to waste my time on calculating PayPal fees, because then I would have to do it once again in case I lowered the price on the item. So now you know why there is a 5% add on to my items.

If buyers bails on a deal because of an extra 20 EURO at max, I take it they aren't seriously interested in the item anyway, and then I'd rather not deal with these people.

Hope this is enough answer to your question.

So these don't fit in a 1260 without removing the door and putting blocks under it? Or do they fit with the elastic band trick?

Mark

Hi Mark, I haven´t tried them yet in an 1260 but I know very well that to fit them on an 1230/4 you need to remove the trapdoor and lift the A1200 a little bit because the memorymodule is too big
