AWeb image loading
« on: March 07, 2003, 03:40:34 PM »
hi,
I'm using AWeb to browse the net on my Amiga, the one that's still being developed etc. But for some reason it seems to load some images that appear to be corrupted. Some images load without any problems but some are all garbled. I'm not sure why. Hasn't anyone else had this problem? It only happens on a few images, but it's a pain!

Thanks!  :-)

It would help to know what hardware you are running on (processor/AGA/gfx card), and what software you're using in addition to AWeb?????

Oops, Sorry!

A1200, 68040 28Mhz, 32meg fast, AGA. ooh, I might be using a AGA patch like FBlit or something, I'll have a look. Might that be affecting it?

Yes, FBlit could be causing the problem if you have it set up wrong.  Also, even though you are using FBlit, still check to see if you're running out of Chip RAM for some reason, or if it's fragmented.

An initial suggestion would be to completely remove your current FBlit installation from your machine.  Then, download the most recent version of it and install that.  Trying using it's default configuration first before messing with it.  I believe the most recent version of FBlit can still be found at the following web page - LINK.
