Anyone ever sold a power tower?
« on: April 24, 2005, 05:43:06 PM »
The reason I ask is that I have two of the blighters (one of which is british racing green  :-o ) and wonder how much they'd cost to ship within the UK.

Cheers,

Andy.

I bought one for £30 with a Voodoo 3 card, and the shipping costs were £15 Royal Mail First Class

Who would want the green one?

Both actually have motherboards in them - one has a right angle thingo for the PCMCIA. Not sure if I can find the drivebay covers though, as they've had drives in that have since been utilised elsewhere... Apart from the green one, which actually has a green bezel on its CD-Rom drive. Nowt to do with me - it was like that when I got it  :-D

I'll need a few days to sort 'em out. They are currently in bits as I've been gutting them for beer tokens  :-)

@Kinster

"Who would want the green one?"

Plenty of people.  Quite a decent colour.  If someone is into modding, it could be a could place to start.  This coming from the person with a Green power-towered A4000 waiting to be finished off sitting under the desk...

I'm not bothered what colour it is, price is what matters to me. :-D
