Ok!
The adapter itself is very easy to install, just plug and play!..:-)
Then of course you must also find a slimline cd, ide-adapter, a short 3.5" cable and a floppy connector for the power supply to the cd.
The most complicated part is maybe to set the CD as slave if its not when you buy it.
I also forgot to mention, you need a 4.5A PSU!

I think the only easier way is if you find a slimline cd with a 2.5" Ide-adapter.
Then you would only need a 2.5"-2.5" cable and add an extra connector...

@PG

What exactly are you selling?  That cable with the extra HD port?

if yes....I want one!  is it buffered?
CD32 is actually the best Amiga ever made by Commodore!...

what is the name of the adaptor that changes the cd interface to ide? seen some on ebay but the teak cd seems to have a ribbon connection.
  could someone please give me a list of exactly what i'll need to do this? also do i have to use a teac 224e? could i use a cd burner? maybe a thinkpad cdr drive?
thanks Juv.U.K
Why does it always break?

@JuvUk:

If you do a search on ebay, try for example: "slim ide adapter" and you should find what you are looking for.
If you intend to use my adapter cable you will also need:
1. A slimline CD-rom set as slave (i have only tested Teac cd-224e so far, but any ATAPI CD-Rom/burner should work, i think.)
2. The slim ide adapter
3. A 3.5" - 3.5" cable to connect the cd-rom to my adapter cable.
4. A floppy power connector with about 10cm cable, for the CD-Rom power supply.
That should be all you need..:-)
Note: i recommend that you use a 4.5A PSU!
If you can only find a Teac cd-224e set as master, you can change it to slave by for example soldering a wire from pin 47 to ground.
More info about this can be found at:
